Director of Mac's Advisory Services Ltd and Principal of Nazman Chartered Accountants. Qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1971, with over 50 years of experience including work with PWC. Holds a degree in Economics and Statistics and now offers advisory services to large clients with dysfunctional management or non-existent business strategy.

One of the founder members of the Pakistan Society of West Yorkshire. Worked as an auditor in Lahore, Pakistan, arrived in UK in May 1978 and operated a firm of Accountants in Bradford. Involved in various volunteer organisations including Bradford Eid Committee, Chairman of Police Liaison Committee, Bradford Action for Refugees and COEMO.

Naveeda Ikram

Naveeda Ikram

General Secretary

Trailblazer who made history as the first British Asian Female Councillor in the North. In 2012, became the first British Pakistani and Muslim Female Lord Mayor in the UK. With 19-year career with PIA and 12 years as local councillor, she is a board trustee for Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit and chairs the 16+ Supported Accommodation Forum Northwest.

Integral part of the society for over a decade, plays a vital role in day-to-day management and organising the annual Independence Day Dinner. Managing Director of Heaton Woods Commercial Finance, previously Regional Relationship Manager at NatWest Bank for over 20 years. Serves as Trustee at Carlton Bolling Academy.

Born in Yorkshire with strong family links to Pakistan. Graduated at Huddersfield University in Law and completed Post Graduate Diploma at Leeds University. Proud son of late President and Founder Mr Rashid Awan MBE. Active trade unionist who sits on branch executive committee and treasurer.

Sharaz Dutt

Sharaz Dutt CeMAP was born in Shantinagar, Pakistan and came to the UK in 2004. Sharaz joined Pakistan Society of West Yorkshire in 2017. Sharaz has previously worked in the banking sector and has been working in the mortgage industry since 2021, where he provides advise to First Time Buyers, Home Movers and existing Homeowners as well as Landlords and Buy to Let market. Sharaz belongs to Christian background with proud Pakistani heritage.
